About the Role:

As the Kitchen Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily kitchen operations and ensuring all Off The Hook standard are followed. Your responsibilities will include leading the kitchen team, optimizing kitchen operational processes, and fostering a positive work environment. With your leadership and management skills, you'll help drive business growth and maintain our commitment to serving bold, authentic flavors that represent our home region. 
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategic plans to enhance kitchen operational efficiency and achieve business goals. 
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow across the kitchen team. 
  • Manage and support department heads or team leaders, providing guidance and leadership to achieve performance targets and deliver exceptional customer service. 
  • Implement and maintain policies and procedures that uphold organizational standards and compliance requirements.
  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, professional development, and team engagement. 
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to minimize waste. 
  • Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. 
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and health regulation. 
 Requirements for Success: 

  •   Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or in a similar leadership role in the restaurant industry 
  • Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evening, and weekends and travel as needed for work related functions and training
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulation
  • Passions for Louisiana cuisine and dedication to our mission of delivering Southern hospitality
  • Must be ServSafe certified or willing to obtain certification 
  • 2+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
  • New restaurant opening experience preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
