At Off The Hook, we’re redefining the quick casual dining experience with local, innovative cuisine and exceptional service. We’re looking for an experienced Director of Operations to join our senior leadership team and drive the day-to-day performance and long-term growth of our restaurant locations.

About the Role

The Director of Operations will play a pivotal role in shaping the culture, enhancing financial performance, and ensuring seamless operations across all locations. This position requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can inspire high-performance teams while maintaining the integrity and values of the Off The Hook brand.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership Excellence

Build and lead high-performing teams by setting clear expectations, communicating goals, and fostering accountability.

Act as a role model for the company’s core values, promoting a positive and productive culture at all levels.

Operational Mastery

Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth execution across all locations.

Develop and implement policies, procedures, and strategies to optimize efficiency, control costs, and drive sales.

Maintain compliance with food safety standards and ensure an environment that prioritizes guest satisfaction and employee well-being.

Hands-On Engagement

Actively participate in both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) operations to maintain standards and provide leadership support.

Assist in training and onboarding staff, ensuring adherence to company policies, menu knowledge, and operational excellence.

Team Development

Empower managers and team members through coaching, delegation, and professional development opportunities.

Lead weekly scheduling, provide constructive feedback, and adapt staffing to meet operational demands.

Strategic Collaboration

Partner with ownership and the leadership team to drive business growth, community impact, and brand loyalty.

Analyze performance metrics to identify opportunities, address challenges, and celebrate successes.

Requirements:

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Hospitality, or a related field.

5–10 years of leadership experience in restaurant operations with proven expertise in managing P&Ls, building culture, and developing teams.

Skills & Attributes

Exceptional communication skills: articulate, persuasive, and professional in both verbal and written forms.

Strong decision-making abilities with the restaurant’s success as the guiding principle.

Passionate about guest service, employee development, and operational excellence.

Compensation: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
